Miranda's Senior Portrait Session

I have been extremely busy with Portraits and Weddings so haven't posted much here lately. Eventually I will catch up! Here are some of my favorites from Miranda's senior portrait session. I photographed this session Downtown Stillwater and at the St. Croix River.

Growing up Miranda spent many of her summers on the St. Croix so we had to get some river shots.

Wednesday

Ellie's Studio Session

Ellie had her outdoor senior portrait session in September and her studio session last week. I had to post a few favorites from the studio session. Ellie brought all of her dance shoes... I can't believe there are so many types.

Check out the tiny ballet slippers Ellie wore as a baby...

Alexa's Senior Portrait Session

Another great senior session. I photographed Alexa's senior portrait session in downtown Stillwater. I love the combination of edginess and beauty.

Tuesday

Josh's Senior Portraits

Finally a guy! Josh is first guy, most likely my only for this senior season. I photographed this senior portrait session at his home. Since he has grown up on the lake, it was obvious we should do some lake shots. I am so impressed that he got in the water in October! Josh did great job and was open to all my suggestions. Thanks Josh!

Oops! Forgot the wallet!
The dog was eager to swim even though the water was cold.

Friday

Murphy Kids

This is one of my favorite families. I photographed the Murphy family last fall in the leaves and they won in the kids category of my best of 2007 contest...

Monica wanted something different and said the magic words..."Do what ever you want". I had fun using some of my favorite spots downtown Stillwater.

I had a hard time getting the real smile from Luke the oldest, quite typical of his age, so I suggested they have a contest. A who can laugh the loudest contest!

Grace definitely wins! She is really laughing so hard that she falls over!

After an attempt to get all WITHOUT smiles...

They bust out laughing!

Thanks Monica for the artistic freedom!
