Bailey's Senior Session

I feel honored when I have clients come back year after year, or with the birth of another child, or the graduation of another young adult.  I photographed Bailey's older brother's senior portraits a few years ago and it's always great to hear about how life is going post high school.  For Bailey's senior session we went Downtown Hudson and areas near by. Bailey was so easy to photograph, such a kind good spirited guy.  His mom has done a great job raising talented, smart and athletic gentlemen.

This is my favorite of Bailey...

Heather's Head Shots

I photographed Heather's first head shots for her first stage audition.  She got a role along side her Mom and Grandma!  She is a natural in front of the camera and did an awesome job on stage.

Sunday

Wilhelmy Family

Fall colors this year weren't as stunning and long lasting as in other years but this spot had plenty of beautiful color.  Thankfully this was one of the rare dry and decently warm days in Hudson for this family portrait session.
Love this one!
Love Pimsiri's eyes and natural expression in this one...
Found the perfect sized tree for climbing
Ezra looks like a king surveying the land.

Ben's Senior Portraits

Ben is a Hudson High senior, a talented soccer player and such an easy going guy.  We spent some time downtown Hudson and also at the soccer fields.

Ben's blue eyes are amazing.
This is my favorite of the session!
I really love how the soccer pictures turned out.  Ben looks like he could be in a magazine in these shots.

Emily and Jason's Orchard Wedding

Emily and Jason planned a fun orchard wedding with lots of charming hand maid details.  The ceremony and reception were both held at Minnetonka Orchards in Minnetrista, MN.  I love that the couple chose to have some of the Twin Cities best food trucks provide amazing food!  Rusty Taco, Vellee Deli, and Home Street Home provided delicious entrees to choose from.  No tiered cake at this wedding, cupcake truck instead.  A Cupcake Social had several flavor options.  A hot dog vendor, Natedogs, and fireside smores satisfied the guests later in the night. Good eatin' at this wedding! YUM!

I love that the wedding party was small.  The brides two brothers were Emily's maids of honor.  Jason had two best men, his brother and friend.

The guys in white linen shirts and tan pants looks wonderful!
The mason jars with flowers along the aisle is perfect.

The orchard also has a vineyard.  Love the soft green look the leaves give, very romantic!

The screened in gazebo was turned into a cigar bar...
The wedding guests had lots of fun yard games to play... horse shoes, bocce ball, a huge yard chess board, bean bag toss (cornhole), and a huge jenga game.
Love the scrabble tiles arranged to spell the bride and groom's names and wedding date among other fun words.  The burlap detail used through out the decor was so pretty.

A big white tent for the reception in a beautiful orchard is such a pretty setting for a reception.  The white twinkle lights and lanterns... magical as the sun sets.
