Alanna and Justin were married in October on the Beach in South Carolina. Alanna's family is here in the Twin Cities so they also had a reception at the Minnesota Boat Club on Raspberry Island in Downtown St. Paul.
Alanna and Justin braved the cold late November weather and we went outside for some amazing shots. However it certainly looks like a warm and sunny summer day in the photographs. This is such a great location to get skyline shots.
The Minnesota Boat Club is a unique old building. I love these fantastic old doors...

Oscar's Newborn Portraits
Zach and Cody
I photographed Zach and Cody the first week of December in Downtown Anoka. It was cold! They were amazing. I literally photographed this session in less than 20 minutes and we went to two locations. They would take their jackets off for a few quick shots and then put them back on to warm up. I have never met teen boys so cooperative. Maybe it was the cold or maybe they should get into modeling!

Maria and Nathan's Engagement Session
Maria is one of my second shooters for weddings. Maria and Nathan are getting married in May at the Historic Courthouse in Stillwater. I am really looking forward to the wedding. I photographed the engagement session near Somerset WI. They were willing to meet me early in the morning and we were able really capture the beautiful fall colors in the morning light.
Thursday
Aleksey and Shannon's Wedding
Aleksey and Shannon were married at Majestic Oaks Golf Course in Ham Lake MN. They planned to have the ceremony outside on the last Saturday in October. They totally lucked out and had a great day, it was so beautiful! I had so much fun with this wedding. It was such a special wedding and I am so glad I was able to be apart of it.
Alex was grinning ear to ear when he first saw his stunning bride.

Shannon's bouquet was spectacular! I think it may be my favorite of all the ones I have photographed. I love the tiny cascading flowers.
Alex and many of the guests are deaf so they would wave their napkins to get the couple to kiss.
They started out with what seems like a typical first dance...

And then they break into a choreographed dance and rocked the reception!
Shannon and Alex I am so impressed with the amazing wedding you planned. I can't even imagine all the thought and time you invested to make it all go so well.
I wish you a journey filled with love and laughter. May you live the life you've dreamed. Congrats!
